Thanks to everyone who came out and helped make our open house a great success! It was nice seeing old friends and great making new ones! Check out some photos of the demo workouts below. Congratulations to McKenna, Jamie and Michele for completing their first WOD (workout of the day) at LHSC!

9:00am until 5:00pm Graham, Brad and Caleb will be at the gym showing potential members around, talking about our programming and answering questions. We'd love to have you come and check everything out. You might even get to see us do a workout demo! The Olympic lifting platform and pull-up rig are complete. Crappy pics courtesy of Brad's phone.
Caleb did Lock Haven Strength and Conditioning's first WOD (workout of the day) last evening to make sure everything was good to go. We are ready. Thanks to Lead Engineer John Dutton and Master Builder Brad Fox, our pull-up rig is almost complete!
We all passed the American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR AED Course last night! Thanks again to our friend, Christopher Rupert, for all his help.
We have completed the base for our pull-up rig and once we add the rubber matting to our Olympic lifting platform, it will be complete.
All our personal equipment has been delivered to the gym and is now officially property of Lock Haven Strength and Conditioning! As we've written before, it is not shiny and new - but it serves it's purpose.
Despite our best efforts, we were unable to schedule CPR certification for this past week. This means we won't be able to begin training this evening as we were hoping. Fortunately, our new friend Christopher Rupert, has volunteered to instruct and certify us this Tuesday evening - so our new target start date is next Saturday, March 9th.
In the meantime, we've been working on setting up a registration system that potential members can use to schedule their no cost, first session. This registration system will allow you to choose the session you'd like to attend and sign up. You'll then receive an email to let you know if you have a confirmed place in the session or if you've been placed on the waiting list. If you've been placed on the waiting list, you can wait until a space becomes available or you may choose to register for a different session. We've also been working on different ways new members can pay their membership fees. If after your first session you've decided to stick with it, you can pay on site with cash, check or credit card. If you need some more time or if you'd like to set up reoccurring payments, we will email you a link that you can use to make payment at your convenience. Progress was made yesterday at the gym location as well. We cleared out both the inside and outside exercise areas and brought in half of all of our equipment. We will be bringing in the remaining half of our equipment this afternoon/evening. With that out of the way, we are planning to start construction of our Olympic lifting platforms and pull-up rig this weekend. Check back for updates! We just received news last night that we all passed the CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certificate Course!
